How we handle your personal data.
Data controller
The data controller is the operator of the Rentyvo service, identified in the legal information.
Data processed
Account data (name, email, phone, language), letting data entered by the landlord (properties, leases, rent, charges, documents) and technical data needed to run the service.
Purposes
Providing the rental administration service, keeping accounts secure, billing the subscription and answering support requests.
Legal bases
Performance of the contract for the service and billing, legitimate interest for security and abuse prevention, consent for any non-essential communication.
Banking data
The bank connection is optional and strictly read-only: it serves only to establish that a rent payment arrived. Initiating payments is impossible and no write access is requested.
Tenant data
The landlord enters their tenants' data and remains responsible for it. Rentyvo acts as processor for that data and uses it for no other purpose.
Recipients
Strictly necessary technical providers: hosting, database, email delivery and processing of subscription payments. No data is resold.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as the account exists. After a closure request the account is deactivated and data is kept for thirty days before deletion, subject to statutory accounting obligations.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. A complaint may be lodged with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Transfers outside the EU
Data is hosted in the European Union. Any transfer to a third country relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
Cookies and tracking
Only necessary cookies are used: the authentication session and remembering the chosen language. No advertising cookies.
